His vision is to take proven methodologies while combining data, logistics and compassion to improve patient outcomes

Kunal Agrawal, MD is a board-certified Neurologist and Vascular Neurologist specializing in the spectrum of stroke care from prevention and acute therapeutics to post-acute stroke care. Dr. Agrawal earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, completed his Neurology residency at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, and finished his Vascular Neurology fellowship training at the University of California, San Diego. With over 12 years of experience in vascular neurology, Dr. Agrawal has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

Branden has 15 years of healthcare experience specializing in telemedicine solution design and commercialization. He has expertise in hospital systems, payers, correctional and post acute care. His passion for coaching the next generation in baseball while keeping God in the forefront motivates him, his two children and wife. His mission is to provide care for patients throughout their entire patient journey.

Regional Stroke Medical Director

Dr. Laroia Coon’s drive to provide high quality patient care, while also promoting stroke education and outreach to hospitals and communities through teleneurology, is unmatched. Prior to joining Sevaro, she completed her Vascular Neurology Fellowship at Michigan State University, and was the stroke medical director and only vascular neurologist for a very busy stroke center in southern Utah.  She believes in leading through servant leadership and in leveraging data, technology, and compassionate care to optimize patient outcomes.

Director of Clinical Service Lines & Implementations

As a Board-Certified vascular neurologist, Dr. Shah has experience in caring for stroke patients at one of the busiest hospitals in the country. His mission to advance stroke care through clinical trials, artificial intelligence, medical informatics and telemedicine has established him as a thought leader in the stroke community. With a vascular fellowship from Duke University, his leadership in building a Comprehensive Stroke Center has improved care in our nation’s stroke belt.

Michael Chen, MD
Regional Stroke Medical Director

Dr. Chen has a passion for innovating and delivering stroke care with a focus on evidence based practice. Completing his neurology residency at University of California, San Diego and Vascular Neurology fellowship at Northwestern, he has a deep understanding of stroke research, clinical trials and how it is applied in telemedicine. Dr. Chen’s goal is to work closely with hospitals to deliver the highest standard of stroke care for their communities.

Senior VP of Strategy & Clinical Operations

Becky has over 25 years of expertise as a registered nurse with experience in emergency medicine, quality care and transformation, neuroscience nurse navigator, and stroke program management. Passionate about improving patient care, her experience in transformation in the emergency department enables her to lead stroke programs nationally. Becky is adept as helping hospitals attain and maintain Joint Commision, HFAP and DNV GL Certifications.

Anar has over 7 years of experience as an operations leader, with extensive experience in post-acute care operations, regulatory compliance, building brand recognition, and improving quality of care.

Her strong commitment to improving internal processes has helped organizations achieve success in a demanding and ever-changing healthcare environment. She is passionate about aligning resources and optimizing workflows to deliver the best patient experience.

Director of Clinical Operations & Quality

Bethany has 17 years of hospital experience including critical care and stroke program management.  She enjoys coordinating continuous quality improvement projects and utilizing data to improve patient outcomes.  She is experienced in regulatory compliance with The Joint Commission and other stroke certifications.

Bethany’s favorite part of working with Sevaro is the ability to make positive impacts for neurology patients across the nation.

As a digital transformation leader, operator and advisor to Silicon Valley, Don has a focus on enabling AI. His leadership roles at Express Scripts, Apple and PayPal motivate him to leverage the best in innovation to improve the patient and physician experience in telemedicine.

As the CFO and Financial Executive for companies such as Netflix, One Medical Group, HealthTap and former operating partner at Khosla Ventures, Paul has a proven record of scaling companies.

Ajay Sharma, MBA

Ajay is an experienced venture capitalist and advisor. He is a General Partner at APA Venture Partners and FP&A at Rhino, a leading insurtech company. Prior to Rhino, Ajay was a Principal with both Communitas Capital and JetBlue Technology Ventures, where he invested in and served as a board observer to several companies
