Sam K. Saha, MD is a board-certified Neurologist specializing in the spectrum of stroke management at the bedside as well as virtually via telestroke.
Dr. Saha earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York and completed neurology residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio.
Possessing more than a decade of experience in teleneurology and telestroke, Dr. Saha is dedicated to enhancing accessibility and improving outcomes for patients with neurological conditions nationwide. He is passionate about leveraging innovative technology and data-driven neuroscience to deliver quality teleneurology services at Sevaro.
Branden has 15 years of healthcare experience specializing in telemedicine solution design and commercialization. He has expertise in hospital systems, payers, correctional and post acute care.
His passion for coaching the next generation in baseball while keeping God in the forefront motivates him, his two children and wife. His mission is to provide care for patients throughout their entire patient journey.
Kirtana Vedire, DMD, brings a vibrant and diverse background to Sevaro that spans across startups in the pharmaceutical, dental, and AI sectors. With a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts College of Dental Medicine, Kirtana’s unique blend of healthcare expertise and operational acumen positions her as a pivotal figure in steering Sevaro’s strategic direction.
Her track record of success in various innovative environments has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the nuances involved in scaling operations efficiently, fostering team synergy, and navigating the complex landscape of healthcare technology.
Drawn to Sevaro’s innovative blend of physician leadership and technology, Dr. Winningham combines her expertise as a vascular neurologist & comprehensive stroke center medical director with a deep commitment to improving stroke care. Her time spent as Chair for the Virginia Stroke Systems Task Force gives her a particular understanding of regional systems of stroke care and the importance of stroke epidemiology in improving those systems.
Dr. Winningham holds a bilingual medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico. She completed her Neurology residency and Vascular Neurology fellowship training at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and spent time there as an NIH StrokeNet research fellow prior to relocating to Charlottesville, VA.
Dr. Arbogast has been a board-certified neurologist since 2009. He joined Sevaro in 2023.
Passionate about the use of technology throughout his medical career, he has served in various roles involving the interface between technology and healthcare for the past fifteen years.
He is particularly dedicated to leveraging innovative solutions to enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and improve the quality of neurology services.
Becky has over 25 years of expertise as a registered nurse with experience in emergency medicine, quality care and transformation, neuroscience nurse navigator, and stroke program management.
Passionate about improving patient care, her experience in transformation in the emergency department enables her to lead stroke programs nationally.
Becky is adept as helping hospitals attain and maintain Joint Commission, HFAP and DNV GL Certifications.
Bethany has 17 years of hospital experience including critical care and stroke program management. She enjoys coordinating continuous quality improvement projects and utilizing data to improve patient outcomes. She is experienced in regulatory compliance with The Joint Commission and other stroke certifications.
Bethany’s favorite part of working with Sevaro is the ability to make positive impacts for neurology patients across the nation.
Lauren is an experienced emergency room nurse and has a long and successful history of working in the hospital & health care industry.
Lauren is held accountable for the growth and selective partnerships with hospitals that are focused on providing excellent neurological care to the patients they serve and continuing to strive for more then they have achieved.
As a Board-Certified vascular neurologist, Dr. Shah has experience in caring for stroke patients at one of the busiest hospitals in the country.
His mission to advance stroke care through clinical trials, artificial intelligence, medical informatics and telemedicine has established him as a thought leader in the stroke community.
With a vascular fellowship from Duke University, his leadership in building a Comprehensive Stroke Center has improved care in our nation’s stroke belt.
Regional Stroke Medical Director
Dr. Rami-James Assadi is a board-certified neurologist and vascular neurologist serving as Regional Stroke Medical Director at Sevaro.
He completed his neurology residency at the University of Minnesota, followed by a fellowship in vascular neurology at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Assadi is passionate about utilizing the latest research to provide exceptional patient care, regardless of location. He chose to join Sevaro because of its dedicated team, all working together to achieve this shared goal.
Dr. Chen has a passion for innovating and delivering stroke care with a focus on evidence based practice.
Completing his neurology residency at University of California, San Diego and Vascular Neurology fellowship at Northwestern, he has a deep understanding of stroke research, clinical trials and how it is applied in telemedicine.
Dr. Chen’s goal is to work closely with hospitals to deliver the highest standard of stroke care for their communities.
